Introduction
The purpose of this test is to evaluate the performance of a vibratory feeding and weighing filling machine when used to dispense Whoppers, a round chocolate candy. The aim is to determine if the machine can accurately measure and dispense the correct amount of candy into each package. In this blog post, we will detail the testing process and share the experiment’s results.

 

Method
We purchased 1.5 kg of common Whoppers and utilized a filling machine with specifications of 1 kg, vibratory feeding, and weighing type.

 

Results
Our results showed that dispensing Whoppers was generally straightforward, with occasional overfilling of 1-3 pieces per package. It is noteworthy that during previous testing of soybeans, each fill-volume consistently exceeded the designated amount by a significant margin. This observation suggests that soybeans have stronger rolling properties than Whoppers.

 

Conclusion
In conclusion, the filling machine performed adequately for the dispensing of Whoppers. However, future testing with different types of candy or products may be warranted to ensure optimal performance.
